Joplin Globe: Area students partner with Smithsonian for nationwide research project
Joplin Globe: Snapshot USA is a partnership between the Smithsonian Institution and one university from each of the 50 states to capture photographs and collect research for a national wildlife database. The team in Kansas is Pittsburg State University is analyzing nationwide trends in mammal communities and the influence of human beings on nature.
